AREX Express Trains are the fastest means of getting from IncheonInternationalAirporttocentralSeoul.
The train links Incheon International Airport Station with Seoul Station through a non-stop, 43-minute journey in a comfortable seat in less noisy cabin.
Notably, passengers fatigued after a long flight often find themselves instantly relaxed and napping the moment they take their seats aboard the express train.
The train has cabin attendants on board who, upon arriving at Seoul Station, provide passengers with guidance, including tips on how to get to their final destination, such as their lodging.
Notably, when leaving the country, passengers can use Seoul Station City Air Terminal if they use the AREX Express Train departing from Seoul Station.
City Air Terminal, located by the AREX Express Train gate on underground level 2 in Seoul Station, comes with check-in counters for Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, and Jeju Air, which offer passengers a one-stop service, including boarding procedures, luggage check-in, and departure review by the immigration authority.
(Passengers should complete their boarding procedure three hours before the departure of their flight. The service is only provided for passengers using those airlines with counters in the terminal)
Once passengers have completed their departure procedure in this terminal, they can directly access the departure lounge through designated gates (exclusively for diplomats, flight attendants, and passengers using the City Air Terminal) without the need for a separate departure procedure. This proves especially useful during peak vacation seasons when the airport is packed with travelers.
Seoul Station City Air Terminal also offers an ¡°early check-in¡± service, which enables passengers to check in their baggage in advance on the day of their departure. Hence, passengers can check in their luggage at Seoul Station City Air Terminal early in the morning on the day of their departure and then leisurely enjoy a city tour or shopping downtown.
